Obsolete patterns

Many added types of connectors application the XLR blazon carapace exist, with assorted pin configurations. Most notable are two now anachronistic three-pin patterns bogus by ITT Cannon.

The ability Cannon (also alleged the XLR-LNE connector) had buried pins and red insulation, it was advised as a mains ability connector, but has been abolished by the IEC 60320 alternation of connectors and increasingly, added recently, the PowerCon adapter developed by Neutrik.

The loudspeaker Cannon (known as a PDN connector) had dejected or white insulation (depending on its gender), was advised for access amid audio ability amplifiers and loudspeakers. These were a bartering abortion and are now obsolete
